Established in 1997, Gilmour Engineering & Industrial Services provides fabrication and metal work services from our workshop facilities in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.

Some of our main clients are from industries such as nuclear, off-shore, paper manufacturing and ship-building. We maintain excellent relationships with existing clients and we aim to continue to develop long-term relationships by delivering quality workmanship, on time and at a competitive cost. Our friendly and efficient service reinforces this, and customer satisfaction is a major priority for the team.

Our managers and engineers have extensive experience in maintenance and project work enabling us to offer advice on solutions to engineering problems taking into account the best practical design, legal requirements and cost-effectiveness. We have experience undertaking and managing construction ensuring maximum safety is achieved and maintained.

We have a multi-disciplined workforce of experienced, motivated, highly trained and skilled engineers, who fabricate in the workshop and then erect and install on site, thereby ensuring continuity of the highest manufacturing standards.
